I just don't know what to say but thank you. I returned home after spending several weeks dealing with my father's illness to find your box waiting for me. (My Dad is doing much better and is home, thanks!) How wonderful! It was chock full of all kinds of goodies!

My husband, gotta love him, had offered a couple of times to open it for me and tell me what was in it but I didn't let him. And I'm glad I didn't. It was a long hard trip with many set backs and I needed a pick me up, just for me. And boy this filled the bill.

Included were: a microwave mini-cake 'card', wind up toys, a banner with the word DREAM, pop corn (gone now by the way!) a cutting board, nail polish, sticky notes shaped in the initial 'd', my fave Girl Scout Cookies (also gone), note cards, Lime Pepper seasoning, a beautiful ribbon bookmark amd two books. The first book is one of my all time favorites, The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency, which will replace my own copy that I loaned out and never got back. The other is titled Plum Wine and just looks luscious. I'll have to post after I've read it and let you know how it is.

Summer Vacation

Hello Group of swappers! This month will be the last swap for the summer. We will start up again in September. The reason for this is because of vacations and busy times for everyone during the summer months. I have enjoyed everyone in the swaps and I hope that you have had fun swapping here too. I hope to see all of you back after the summer, in September, ready to swap again. I will email everyone with all the details of the swap when it nears. I have just recently joined several pen pal groups and enjoy writing email and snail mail. All sorts of stationery is always great to get. I love key chains and can always use a bookmark, as sometimes I am reading more than one book.

I LOVE my April BABE package!! Look at the wonderful goodies Jayne gave me! Jayne, you really did your homework because everything is PERFECT! Yankee Candle in Clean Cotton scent(I only like light scents), another candle with red (my favorite color) ribbon, a trinket box with adorable kittens on it(!), Angel clip for my visor (how did you know I drive fast??), and CHERRY goodies!!! I adore cherries -- the cute vase that I think I'm going to use to display my wooden crochet hooks, cherry nameplates (which I might laminate to use in my business), and cute cherry notepad. And the books -- one from a Christian author I just added to my Amazon list and has recipes in it like another author I love, Diane Mott Davidson --- my cherry BOOKMARK is already 3/4 of the way through it and I just got this last night. PLUS a book that has an author named "Shawn" is another one from a Christian publishing house. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! WOW!! What a generous swap partner you are Jayne -- thanks again.
